Most of the facilities we work with are characterized by architectural elements that are typical in Puglia, including exposed Leccese stone and star-vaulted ceilings. Southern Italy’s mild Mediterranean climate and bustling centers like Lecce and Matera make almost any time a good time to visit. However, we’ve purposely planned our tours in order to avoid the high-season months of July and August, as well as to take advantage of local customs like participating in the traditional olive harvest or experiencing the Easter processions that are only available at certain times of the year. We have tours at Easter, in late June, early September, and late October as we’ve determined these to be the best times to take full advantage of seasonal offerings, as well as maintain a comfortable pace without the hassle of fighting the crowds.
Feel free to contact us with tour requests outside our established schedule, and we’ll make every effort to plan a personalized itinerary for you. Prices and availability may vary, so be sure to contact us as soon as you know when you’d like to travel.
