The Purple House Hostel was named by it’s founder Andrea A. in honor of the original Purple House Hostel which was located in Tel Aviv, Israel back in the 1980’s.

After 15 years she decided to pass the hostel to it’s new owners and current administrators Karla, Martha and Bryan becoming a family business. This change came with a new location, new ideas and of course great hospitality that will make you feel welcome and comfortable.

We are a hostel that offers diverse kind of accommodations to our travellers and guests.

Our dorms are ideal for travellers and adventurous people who enjoy resting and sharing their experiences with other guests and travellers.

In addition, we also offer private accommodation for those people who would like to have a wee bit more privacy and intimacy. Furthermore, we have several common areas where the travellers can arrange travel plans meet each other and exchange past experiences and future ones.

Location 

The city center of the city can be reached on foot in just 30 minutes but you can use public transportation for faster arrival in the center.

Directions to Hostel

From the bus Terminal by bus:

If you decide to take the bus you would need to walk to the center and look for ‘Parada de La Castellana’ there you would need to wait for the ‘Abanicos’ bus and request the driver to leave you at the bar ‘Centro Turistico David’ alias ‘La Brujita’ after that you can go down that street and on the third block right hand you will find the hostel.

From ‘La Castellana’ bakery by sesenteros Taxi:

You can take this type of taxis next to the ‘Castellana’ bakery, but you would need to wait until it’s full, you will also ask the driver to leave you at the bar ‘Centro Turistico David’ alias ‘La Brujita’ after that you can follow the above directions.

From Enrique Malek International Airport by regular taxi:

You can take any taxi and request them to take you to ‘La Pradera’ entrance of Bar ‘Centro Turistico David’ alias ‘La Brujita’ go down that street and on the third block right hand you will find the hostel.

– Near by grocery store open until 9:00pm.
– No restaurants near the hostel.
– Easy public transportation access.
– Residential area.
– There are stairs in the hostel.
– There are pets in the hostel (cats and dogs).
– Owners live on the property.

No, there are no restaurants near by but there are 2 local little grocery that sell essentials.
